Часть текста: отражение. «Университетская поэма» Набокова Метаморфоза как метафора Образец и его отражение «Университетская поэма» Набокова «Университетская поэма» (далее – УП ), написанная Владимиром Набоковым в Берлине в декабре 1926 года, вскоре после завершения первого романа «Машенька», и опубликованная в лучшем эмигрантском журнале «Современные записки» [21], примечательна и как набоковский эксперимент с онегинской строфой, и как его попытка внести свой вклад в богатую онегинскую традицию. Из ряда критических отзывов, в общем, скорее, поверхностно‑восторженных (уничижительная оценка принадлежала Георгию Иванову, назвавшему поэму «гимназической», написанной «вялыми ямбами, лишенными всякого чувства стиха» [22]), своей основательностью выделяется замечание Михаила Кантора: Большая (ок. 900 стихов) «Университетская поэма» Сирина – произведение виртуоза. Но есть литературные формы, окончательно себя исчерпавшие: к ним принадлежит стихотворная повесть, достигшая своего апогея в первой трети XIX века.
